Digivice D3 (Digimon, Detect & Discover) Version 1 (2000) Review

Image
Hi guys! I'm back again with another review of another product of the Digivice line from the Digimon anime franchise. This time, I'm gonna be talking about the D3 Digivice, which was featured in the Digimon Adventure 02 anime series, back in the year 2000. A little backstory, I actually haven't really had an original V-Pet, Pendulum, or Digivice toys growing up, since I'm not from a wealthy family, so I couldn't asked for much toys back then. All I could was playing with my friends' or relatives', so the Digivice toys had been one my most wanted toys from the wishlist, well kinda is until now LOL. But my first original Digivice was a US version of D2 Ver 2, which I got from the flea market (too bad I've lost it few months later, I was a foolish child back then, I know 😭😭). But, I digress. Here's the product shot of the D3. The D3 Digivice Ver. 1 Paildramon Color Back view. Top view This particular D3 was the first Digiv...

Digimon Adventure Digivice 15th Anniversary (Wargreymon Ver.) Review

Hi guys! Remember the iconic Digimon toys we admired back then, the Digivice (D2)?  This time, I wanna talk about the one in my collection, the 3000 unit limited edition Digivice 15th Anniversary Wargreymon Ver. After 2 months of saving up from my pay from 2018, I managed to get this on time for my birthday. It's a nice gift for myself after all 😆 I've been admiring this for a very long time and only thinking of getting one if the type is worth it to get. I'm sort of a competitive collector myself back then, where I only think it's worth it to get a Digimon toys if it could dominate my local tournament scene. But this one is a total beaut! A limited and complete version of the D2 as well. Too bad I couldn't get the whole set since it was out of my budget and my primary target was to obtain the whole MC's Digivice too. First up, let's talk about the D2 Digivice electronic toy by Bandai.  Digivice is an LED electronic game, base...

Digital Monster X (V-Pet X) Review

Image
AFTER 10 YEARS! Bandai had decided to produce another line of Digital Monster, or Digimon toys, probably after the success of the release of Digital Monster 20th Anniversary And Digimon Pendulum 201th Anniversary. Though it id identify as the continuation of the Digimon Virtual Pet line, this product was released under the 'Premium Bandai' line, which makes the toy slightly expensive. The pre-order price was 3780 Yen (around USD$36).  Front view of the packaging. Rear view of the packaging. From what we can see here, the packaging is as similar as the original V-Pet and V-Pet 20th. The design is so much more better with the silhoutte of Wargreymon X at the back. And at the rear, we can see the exclusive Digimon included in this version (there's a white + blue color version of this), Minervamon X. And there are also simple guide for it's gameplay. Here is the detail shot of the V-Pet X. There's a short comic incl...
